IMPLEMENTASI NILAI-NILAI NITISASTRA DALAM MEMBANGUN SOLIDARITAS ORGANISASI HIMPUNAN MAHASISWA PENDIDIKAN AGAMA HINDU UNIVERSITAS HINDU NEGERI I GUSTI BAGUS SUGRIWA DENPASAR

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of Nitisastra values in fostering organizational solidarity within the Hindu Religious Education Student Association (HMPS) of UHN I Gusti Bagus Sugriwa Denpasar. The research employed a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collected through observation, interviews, documentation, and literature review. The informants consisted of administrators and members actively involved in organizational activities. The findings reveal that the Nitisastra values implemented within the organization include compassion, wisdom, responsibility, harmonious communication, and self-control. The value of compassion is reflected in a leadership style that emphasizes a family-oriented approach and concern for members’ well-being. Wisdom and self-control are demonstrated through the ability of organizational leaders to resolve conflicts through deliberation, maintain respectful communication, and regulate emotions when facing differences of opinion. Organizational solidarity is further strengthened through open communication, collaborative participation in organizational programs, and various informal activities that foster emotional closeness among members. The implementation of Nitisastra values has proven effective in creating harmonious relationships, enhancing members’ sense of belonging, and strengthening solidarity within student organizations. Therefore, Nitisastra can serve as an ethical and moral foundation for developing a harmonious, responsible, and dharma-based organizational culture.
